HERE WE GOOOOOO!

Conquest Canada departs Monday morning at 7 am. BE READY FOR A WEEK OF FUN AND EXCITEMENT! Check out the pictures above from last year. This is going to be a great week. I am excited myself. Make sure you attend the final meeting today at 2:30 pm in Vancouver classroom.

Boat Cruise Tonight!

Be sure to see Trevor to pick up your tickets. It should be a beautiful night to enjoy Lake Ontario. You MUST bring your Passport for ID if you want to drink alcohol. Don't forget your camera because this will be a great chance to take some amazing pictures of Toronto's skyline.

Beer and Cocktail Show Tonight... Wonderland Tomorrow

Wow guys SO MANY STUDENTS are coming to Wonderland. I will be at York Mills early tomorrow if you want to come. I will be there from 9 am so that I can help anyone who arrives early. Don't forget to bring an extra $9 to take the GO Transit bus to Wonderland.

Secondly we have the Beer and Cocktail show tonight. We will be meeting at 6 pm at King Subway Station (near the ticket booth). We will then ride the streetcar to the Distillery District and enjoy our time at this great alcohol exhibition. Don't forget extra cash to pay for samples :)...

ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT! Conquest Canada suddenly has a few openings. A few students cannot attend so I am opening up the waiting list. Please come see Trevor today if you would like to join our amazing May trip. If you haven't paid the entire amount for the trip by today you will not be able to attend the trip and we will be keeping your deposit.

Conquest Canada Final Payments DUE!!!

If you are joining our amazing May trip you MUST PAY YOUR BALANCE TODAY! There are a few exceptions to this rule. Please talk to Trevor if you cannot pay today, otherwise you will lose your reservation and deposit!!

Don't forget the meeting today! We will be in Vancouver Classroom at 4:30 today. If you already have a group you only need to send one member to attend. Don't forget Trevor also needs those Waiver forms.

Don't forget to look for Jane or Carol if you don't currently have your tickets. Otherwise you can pick up your tickets and refund from Trevor at lunch time or after classes.

Resume Workshop Tonight!

Hey everyone! Don't forget we have the Resume Workshop tonight. It is a great way to learn how to create a North American style resume. Meet on the 6th floor at 4:30 to join.

I hope you enjoyed the Humber College presentation last night. Linda was very nice to stop by and talk about their classes for post-secondary and post-graduate studies.

If you want to join Wonderland please remember you should sign up and pay before Friday. Trevor needs to order the tickets so it is important that you sign up early.

We Will Rock You tickets should be arriving this morning. I will let you know in the announcements if they have arrived.

Welcome to another great week at KGIC...

Today we have the Humber College Presentation. Meet in Vancouver Classroom at 4:30 to join. Our good friend Linda Chau from Humber will be discussing their many post-secondary education options.

Tomorrow is the Resume Workshop. If you are interested in finding a job in Canada, or just want to know more information about "North American" style resumes then please come to the 6th floor at 4:30 to join.
Wednesday we have the amazing musical "We Will Rock You", based on the music of Queen. Tickets are SOLD OUT!! We will feature this musical again next month if you missed this chance.

Thursday you should make your final payments for Conquest Canada 2007. The price is $520 so please make sure you pay Trevor the balance you owe. Failure to do so by Thursday May 17th will mean you will not be able to join the trip.

Friday come to the Beer and Cocktail Show. Imagine a trade-show combined with a club. All major alcohol manufacturers will be represented. The advertised cost is WRONG. You can get a ticket to enter for just $10. Please see Trevor this week to join.

Saturday is KGIC's first Wonderland visit of the year! For just $25 you can enjoy this amazing park all day long. The cost does not include the price of the GO bus we will be taking. Please bring $9 extra to pay for the bus.
