Today we're colouring some Easter Eggs :)

It's an Easter tradition! We will colour some eggs after school today to practice a common Canadian tradition. Well..... Canadian tradition isn't quite accurate, but that's not so important. Join me in Vancouver classroom today at 4:30 if you would like to join. It's FREE!

Tomorrow the NEW YORK TOUR departs. Don't forget you have to be at Yonge and Bloor at 7:00 am. BE EARLY! I don't want to hear about anyone missing the bus. Get ready for an amazing weekend in New York. I hope I will see a lot of pictures and hear some great stories on Tuesday. Sorry Sarah, but I won't be attending.

Remember that tomorrow and Monday we have no school. On Saturday we have the Maple Syrup tour. We will meet at 9:15 right here at KGIC. I know it's cold, but it will be really interesting to see all that happens to make Maple Syrup...

Walking Tour of Downtown.. MIGHT be canceled

It's raining a lot today so the Walking Tour might be canceled. I will still meet students in the student lounge area today after classes.

Time is running out for New York CITY! Don't forget to sign up today if you want to join this amazing trip. KGIC and ISX are teaming up again for a great tour in the Big Apple. Last time it was a really great time.

I STILL haven't decided if I will join you or not. Sarah Kessler has DEMANDED I attend. Well Sarah... you might have to wait until Friday morning to find out what decision I have made.

Interview Workshop Tonight!

HEY I'M BACK! ... and it's April

Check out the April Schedule! It is another great month here at KGIC Toronto. We have a LOT of new students. Please make them feel welcome tomorrow as they start their first classes. Lots of good activities take place this week as well.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) we have Interview Workshop. You can learn Job Interview Skills by attending. Trevor has some knowledge on this subject that he isn't afraid to tell you about. Meet in Bombardier classroom on the 6th floor at 4:30 to attend.

Wednesday we have the Walking Tour of Downtown. The weather is much better these days for a walking tour. NO MORE COLD! :) We will meet after school at 4:30 in front of Yanela's desk. Please join us. The cost is FREE.

Thursday it's an Easter tradition, colouring Easter Eggs. After classes at 4:30 meet in Vancouver Classroom, the cost is FREE!

Friday is the TRIP TO NEW YORK! Trevor MIGHT be attending, but he's not so sure, but we KNOW Jane (our wonderful ESL teacher) will be going. Make sure to pack well and enjoy the wonderful city of NEW YORK. You will have an amazing time, but sign up soon! The space is limited!

Saturday if you are not going to New York you should join us for a Maple Syrup tour. We'll go outside of Toronto to a great place the Bruce Mills Conservation Area. When we arrive we will have a chance to enjoy nature and learn about how they make Maple Syrup.

All of the above are great options to enjoy your time in Toronto. Come see me on the 6th floor to sign up and pay. HAVE A GOOD DAY!

Thursday Night BOWLING!

I won't be able to attend tonight. I have TOO MUCH WORK before I depart for Thailand. Bowling tonight, remember to meet at Coxwell Subway Station at 6:00 pm. Tina will be attending this activity due to my large work load this week.

ENJOY THE BOWLING. Just $5 for 1.5 hours and shoe rentals? WHAT A DEAL! :)

Tomorrow, remember to bring your medical insurance information to the ski/snowboard trip. If you do not show me your medical insurance card I will not be able to allow you to join the ski trip.

Saturday is of course our St. Patty's Club Night and also my birthday party! It should be a great time, don't forget to wear green!

Sunday we have OHL Hockey, the last of the season. For just $10 we will be able to watch some amazing hockey at St. Clair West Subway Station. Don't forget to sign up and pay on Friday if you want to go! Sunday I also leave for Thailand. Aaron will be taking over for me for the week. Thats all for now. There will be a few updates when I am in Thailand (if I can get near a computer). Also, I really hope to meet some ex-students in Korea this time around. Wish me luck on my trip. I hope everyone here does well while I am gone. I'll miss you! Enjoy!
